Quote from: BeeeejUnfortunately, the Versus feed froze about 25 minute ago, and all we're getting is a still image of stopped play about midway through the second period.  Or is it just me (or just my cable provider)?  Can anybody else report being able to watch the game live at the moment?

I am having no problems with versus right now on Time Warner Ithaca, Its intermission report.  Had no problems with the game either.

Quote from: Roy 82Apparently.

Jason Klump says in his blog that Cornell fans as usual cannot win with class because they did a Winning team-Losing team cheer.::moon::

Jason Klump also mistook the team's traditional stick salute to the fans as a salute to Yale when we lost the OT game at Lynah a few weeks ago.  He felt the need to argue over the course of several pages on the USCHO Yale thread that it was clearly Cornell paying homage to a superior and more talented team, and not the usual salute to the fans. ::wtf::

Whaddya think he's been smokin'? ::uptosomething::

When there was no change tonight, I sent an e-mail to the station GM. I doubt it will make a difference, but it's better than doing nothing, I guess.

For me, its not the same if he's not playing.

Current favorite NHL team: Sabres.

Before that in reverse chronoloical order: Panthers, Leafs, Devils, Stars, and Flames.

QuoteThat doesn't make this weekend's upsets inevitable, but it makes them possible.

And fun, too.  I agree, this has been an amazing tournament.  Part of it was having three ECAC teams in.  Part of it is that Cornell won. (I'd be off moping until tomorrow if they'd lost.) Mostly, there have been very few blow outs, three overtimes, and I can't remember when coverage of so many of the games have been available.

I understand your point, but after all these years of having no replay in the regular season (and I know other leagues are different) and learning to live with wrong calls, I still don't like it.

My real problem with it is the delay between the shot and when it was reviewed.  I admit I was flipping back and forth between the channels, was this the first stoppage in play since that shot six minutes before?

That shot was at about 10:00 of the OT.  Seems a shame to review it now (abount 4:00 something) and possibly change the score.  Would be a crappy way to end it. (Especially since I'm rooting for AF)

Miami killed off one 5x3, is on their second 5x3 and is called for a third penalty
