My HR professor here at Cornell is a Colorado College grad ... He said he wasn't rooting for anyone last week, just wanted to see a good game. Growing up in Ithaca, I've got a few friends who have gone to schools Cornell plays against, and the vast majority still cheer for the Big Red when they meet.

No, the Islanders won't make the playoffs. But, find happiness with the fact that the Rangers will!:-}

I love how the author talks about their "safety school" chant as if it was something creative and unique to Harvard's cheering section.

He should have come to Cornell and gave up playing in the NHl at age 18?

The Hockey Future people write a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense, or in other cases is just downright wrong. That being said, this article seems pretty accurate. I'd be surprised to see Pokulok back next year.

Hockey / Re: Yale - Cornell post-game

The most noticable aspect of the game, from my point of view, was how physically dominant Yale was. They outhit Cornell all over the ice. McCutcheon's goal was one of the nicest I have seen in a long time. I agree with others' sentiment that Cornell was the better team. They had more shots, more opportunities, and carried the play. If Cornell played Yale 10 times, I'd expect at least 7 wins.

Lundqvist is clearly a better goalie and also much younger. The reasoning that Renney is giving is that Lundqvist has never played an 82 game season because he played in Europe and they don't want to wear him out. Also, if you look at his numbers, they are far better at MSG than during away games, which is why Weekes plays many of the road games.

6. When will Krantz commit his 1000th turnover of the season?

7. Could Princeton beat the Chapter House team in the Ithaca Adult Hockey Association?
