My partner and I (both '22) just got our seats - they seem to be selling pretty quickly. We're in Sec 108 on Friday & Sec 104 on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing other CU folks

I'll be honest. I don't see what Schafer sees in Keopple.

Shane isn't great, but he's a hell of a lot better...

Alright, I'll eat my words. Keopple looked good. (a lot better than he did in the exhibitions.)

Quote from: DuncA modernized app version of this http://www.elynah.com/?cheers actually isn't a bad idea - I'll look into coding one up (CS Major Hockey Fans FTW)

Dunc, another Section B vet here (normally row A, but currently out with COVID - should be back for Sacred Heart) - I was thinking about printing a bunch of 1/4 cards with some of the basic cheers and then a QR code with a link to a site with the rest of the info, but not sure about the cost or if Lynah staff would yell at me for trying to distribute. I don't think we need a full blown iOS or Android app, but a website that loads quickly on the crappy Lynah WiFi should be good enough.

Given the COVID cancellations and the (insert expletive directed at Cornell ticketing/leadership) single-game ticketing system last year, the current seniors only have the 2019-2020 season of experience (if they went as freshmen) and everyone else is complete rookies. As a super-senior, I've got slightly more than that, but barely. Looking at the livestream last night, it didn't look like D/E were even doing the Alma Mater. :(

We NEED to get the word out about what we are yelling before Harvard on 12/2.

Shoot me a PM or an email if you want to try and coordinate.

For what it's worth, the Cornell mens hockey twitter doesn't always post them, but I've always been able to find them on Twitter, posted about an hour before game time. Aaron Snyder (@AaronSnyderCDS) is the primary (and best) Daily Sun hockey reporter and he's generally pretty good at posting a picture of it (especially at home games)

Slightly off-topic, but how does one get added to the coach's mailing list?

Did they actually chant that?  I was thinking it, but I'm impressed if the students were on the ball enough to do it.

We chanted "Five point weekend!" "Five goal season!" at the front of section B, but I don't know that it made it all the way to the back of the section. "Six point weekend" last weekend definitely happened though.

Here's the clip from the ESPN broadcast. Seemed really soft to me, but definitely a retaliatory slash of some form. (disclaimer: also wasn't at Lynah)

Quote from: CU2007Why dont the students keep singing after the Gary glitter song to start the 3rd period anymore? Need that back.

At best, 50% of the undergrads have EVER gone to a game before this season. The natural hand-off of leadership over the Faithful in section B has been disrupted. Us seniors who went to most/all of the games our frosh and soph years are working on bringing people back up to speed, but most of us barely remember these things.

With that said, each night so far has been an improvement in volume and coordination (although last night was honestly a step back, with some pretty stupid chants regarding a certain Seaman).

Heading to Lynah East for the first time this year as a current senior undergrad, any reccomendations for where I should be buying seats? I thought I read somewhere that we tend to sit in section 8, but can someone confirm before I buy tickets?

Thanks
