Quinnipiac has to be considered the favorite, but not "by far" the best team next year.

Castagna back in lineup. Donaldson scratched.

You are probably thinking of the '77-'78 team.  They started 1-4 in ECAC play and then went 15-1-1 in conference games until a quarterfinal loss to Providence at Lynah. We outshot PC 52-24 but lost 8-5. With better goaltending, that team could have won the NCAA championship.

OOC helped a bit last night. North Dakota won again and Northeastern and Wisconsin lost. We are up to 23.

Two penalties in the offensive zone in the first 9 minutes?  Come on

It was a great crowd and atmosphere at MSG. 15,289 was an excellent turnout.  St. John's basketball drew 14,188 when they played Michigan at MSG two weeks ago. Great comments by Mike in the postgame on alumni support.

BU will be on a 5 on 3 power play to start the 2nd.  But with Colgate's start and BU's offense, rooting for Colgate now is like rooting for them to get an NCAA bid instead of Cornell.

Grady and Tim pointed out that Harvard was playing two lines in the second half of the game.  If all their raw talent is so great, why is it riding the bench?

Other than the second period when they had their PP advantage, shots and possession were about even. As you point out, we were missing our top two goal scorers.  And .... we won!  Q is not way better.

Attendance was 15,142 with a very strong Cornell contingent. Better than 2017 (14,606). BU's poor start to the season likely affected their crowd size.

Yes, from  an attendance perspective it makes sense.  But if we beat Northeastern I would rather face Minnesota State or Providence than Duluth.
