Hockey / Re: Cornell alumni in the Pros June 2004

On January 18, 2004, David was ejected from the Springfield-Lowell (AHL) contest for fighting Patrick DesRochers.

Beat the crap out of the opponent's goalie, how great is that.

Hockey / trivial hockey question
May 17, 2004, 06:37:07 PM
Cornell (and most college hockey teams, as far as I know) wear whites when at home, and colors on the road. NHL, it seems to go the other way 'round, though apparently is wasn't like that until recently (if NHL 2k4 is to be believed). Any of y'all know why this would be?

...to which I have no answer...
Anyone out there know who holds the single season / career record for plus/minus in the NHL? Highest? Lowest?

Thanks

Hockey / OT: Slope Day
March 21, 2004, 11:06:57 AM
I know this isnt precisely the most appropriate place to be asking this, but this is the best collection of minds in the CU community...
Anyways, Im out here in Boston and thinking about going to slope day this year (May 7 if I'm not mistaken). Has anything been announced about it (new draconian regulations, music acts, etc)?

Thanks

Dumb question: what's the diff between an 'assistant ref' and a 'lineman'?

So, I'll be in FL for the break, and was seriously considering going down to the tourney. Anyone who's been there, how hard are tix to get? Are they at the CU tix office? How about accomodations around there?
