I know there was another thread on speculation for this happening...but since it looks like its confirmed I thought I'd start something new (I hope its confirmed at least...the image looks real but what I'm reading online still refers to rumors/leaks so it could be an eager ELynah fan with an affinity for photo shop!)

If this is fully confirmed...awesome!

I don't care whether it means anything.  Well I do, but that is slightly besides my point.

What I'm focused on is the fact that the teams are indeed playing well and are being shown respect relative to other teams.

Does anyone else remember 3 of the top 10 in the polls (USCHO Poll that is) being from the 'EZAC'?  Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Score!  Gotta love craigslist!  Section 116, Row C.

Can someone confirm for me that 116 is a Cornell fan section and that Cornell will be attacking that goal twice during the game?  Anyone?

Yeah...been there...not gonna do it...and $238 is about the middle of the road price.  I was thinking of getting the whole lower level VIP box for $2,223 but decided against it. :-P

Hockey / Florida (JMP/Joe) Update
September 15, 2005, 11:17:56 AM
I must admit that I haven't been keeping up on my elynah reading during this offseason, but I just got back from watching the Florida Panthers practice session.  The facility is great, (its in Coral Springs, FL where I am right now for my 10 year HS reunion) and you really get to see the players up close.

That being said, I was totally surprised (as I mentioned...I hadn't been doing my reading) when the first thing that I saw was the back of a goalie jersey with PELLETIER on it.  In between drills I banged on the glass behind the goal and gestured to my Cornell hat that I was wearing.  He took a look...and smiled and gave a nice nod of recognition.  It definitely made him happy...and it made my day as well.  (I had no clue he was on the squad...I was just hoping to catch a glimpse of Joe)  Joe was on the practice squad opposing him, so it was kind of cool to see 2 Cornellians face to face...though there really weren't any direct shots to speak of...

Anyway...I wouldn't say that he was just here for a cup of coffee, because I definitely have great memories of him playing while I was at Cornell.

Just thought you'd all be interested in my little story...

Back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Unfortunately I think being passed out in the office would result in a few too many unemployed Cornellians...  ::drunk::

You may remember me as the guy who put together the event for the Cornell/Clarkson Hockey game a little while back...thanks to all of you who came!  I was hoping that I might be able to get the word out about another NYC alumni event that we are doing:

From:  Cornell BAR Committee
Location:  79th Street Boat Basin, W 79th St,New York,NY
When:  Friday, May 6, 6:00pm
Phone:  (212) 496-5542

Join us for Slope Day @ the 79th Street Boat Basin on Friday, May 6th - Celebrate Slope Day in NYC.

It's that time of year - Slope Day! Grab your friends & relax as the sun sets - just like on Libe Slope! Dave Feldstein '00 and Sarit Kessel '00 request your presence at the Boat Basin (West 79th Street at the Hudson River-1/9 to 79th Street and head west!!!)

We'll meet at 6PM and stay until whenever! There is a beautiful outdoor space (with an overhang in case of rain.) Enjoy your favorite libation while reminiscing about the days on the Hill!

Food is also available so as not to roll down the slope - or into the Hudson! No cost, no RSVP necessary. Sign in and drop your business card for a Cornell prize! All Cornellians and friends are invited! See you there!

Awesome job Jeremy!

Great crowd...and I must say that it was great to have an opportunity to play the cowbell for once...albeit using a pint glass and a knife. :-)
