Not a nice article at all...

Don't you want to enjoy the ride? Winning a national championship would be great, but seeing all the great victories this year (Yale 3-2, Harvard 6-3, Clarkson 5-3, etc.) was and is the greatest joy so far. Of course we all have high hopes, but this article is a bit out there... Bobby Knightesque in some ways... Hockey is at times a game of luck, and who knows how many posts get hit at the wrong times:`(

A very wise comment to make... Of course it is easy to compliment a team you won't see again for a while.

Schafer is smart to look ahead... anyone we beat at Lake Placid sees their hopes of an NCAA bid disappear, and some teams may be prone to getting FRUSTRATED!! (um... Clarkson?)

Also it just stands on its own... Schafer, his team, and Yale all played very sportsmanlike for two games... Yale can come get beat anytime they want =:)

You have to throw out all that seeding stuff... when 3-8 is from 23 to 22 points, the fact one team got 36 points makes it a super #1. If Schafer doesn't win I'll be floored. He didn't edge Cornell into first place... He blew the competition away by more than 2 4pt weekends...
That said, TOTY (team of the year) is the ultimate goal, but it has been a great ride =:)

SO for PWR, do we hope for any particular results (aside from a 2 CU wins)? Is there any advantage to playing and beating DU over RPI?

Yeah... We should get credit for beating the US under 18 team if that's true;-)
