These are the times, I wish Cornell had a player who can score 20 goals in a season. Someone like Matt Moulson who can come through in the playoffs.

Having depth is great and all, but you usually need that one playmaker who helps pull you through and make the special plays.

The tying goal from BU 36 seconds after Cornell scored was a killer. It killed any momentum.

I thought Cornell plays Michigan Tech if Notre Dame wins?

According to the Quinnipiac Chronicle, Pecknold refused to speak to the media after the game. He also didn't let his players talk. http://www.quchronicle.com/2018/03/caits-column-no-9-quinnipiac-mens-ice-hockey-gets-trounced-by-no-1-cornell/

Quote from: Jeff Hopkins '82St. Cloud beats Denver 4-2 and Bemidji ties Mankato.

We stay in 3rd by 0.003 over Mankato with Denver 5th.

Cornell is fortunate that Denver and Notre Dame lost. Mankato tie also gave Cornell a little breathing room. All things considered, the lost to Union wasn't too bad.

I hope this loss doesn't haunt us come ncaa tournament time. Our penalty kill completely fell apart.

I thinks it's time to pull Stewart.

Yep, it's one of those games. Union is 3/3 on the power play. Only way to stop them is not to commit any penalties.

I hope Cornell doesn't commit another penalty because Union power play seems unstoppable.

Quote from: Scersk '97This year has been great. If we could only "disappear" Union, we'd also be back to league normality.
Can we disappear Quinnipiac instead?
Why not both?  Niagara/RIT are a natural rivalry.

Nia/RIT
Cor/Cgt
Clk/SLU
RPI/Prn
Yal/Brn
Drt/Hvd

I know this is a recency bias, but it would suck to lose a national champion from our conference. Union looks to be strong for the foreseeable future.

Anyone know what happened to Coach Schafer? RPI announcers said that he had to head to the locker room.
