Audio failure - 19 years ago
The Cornell paid audio failed all last night and continues to do so. Anybody having this problem (try an archive file)? Any suggestions?by Trotsky - Hockey

I wouldn't mind McKee going through a shutout lull if it meant breaking the Dryden record on April 9 in Columbus.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Our goalies are keen! - 19 years ago
Here's a fun stat: best GAA in ECAC league play: Cornell '05 is on pace to take the #1 slot. That would give Cornell the top 6 places in ECAC history and eight of the top ten: four from Schafer teams and four from Ned.by Trotsky - Hockey
McKee is the real deal - 19 years ago
Seeing only 5-6 games per season, evenly spaced throughout the season, is a little like wathcing the team develop in time lapse photography or under a strobe light: continuous changes that gradually reveal themselves over the course of the season might become radical, unmistakable shifts when you cut out 4 of every 5 frames. I just saw the tape of the Hamilton game and something has happened tby Trotsky - Hockey

The WRPI mics must've been in a fortuitious position, because on their audio it sounded like Lynah was rocking, especially A and B in the first and third.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Hockey at Fenway? - 19 years ago
When Boston is a septic, self-absorbed, smoldering ruin (even more than already), if there's any further justice the only structure that survives within a 200 mile radius, now that the Gahden is gone, will be Fenway. We can move it, rusting I-beam by crumbling brick, to someplace with a human population. Hate the city. Detest the people. But that is THE ballpark. Only Wrigley is close.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell - RPI Postgame thread - 19 years ago
I resent the implication that I have any perspective. ugarte, I read Bill's "small consolation" comment as wry humor, directed at the explosion of expectations you are concerned about. He can defend himself, but this is a far cry from RPI fans on the USCHO thread giving up and/or ripping their team following the *first* Cornell goal. Perspective is a common commodity aroundby Trotsky - Hockey

Cornell shut RPI down to just 4 shots in the third. Solid. Can I say for the thousandth time that Mike Schafer is my personal savior?by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 RPI 0 (final) - 19 years ago
And McKee is one short of Dryden. Remarkable.by Trotsky - Hockey

Bitz and Pereira need to get a room. They've been dancing all night.by Trotsky - Hockey

Re: Friday 2/18 other scores - 19 years ago
Yes, excellent idea. Maine down 3-1 to Providence would reduce out SOS a tad.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 RPI 0 (3rd) - 19 years ago
Economakus and Croxton with some good chances in front of McKee, but Cornell able to weather it.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 RPI 0 (3rd) - 19 years ago
Looks like the third period is going to be WWI trench warfare, with neither line moving much. Suits me.by Trotsky - Hockey

Cornell comes out hitting to begin the third.by Trotsky - Hockey

The third Cornell goal: 2 15:01 Cor pp Knoepfli 8 (Scott 13)by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 3 RPI 0 (2nd) - 19 years ago
pp #3 -- RPI clear a few times but now Moulson with a great chance just kicked out by Martin. Now Knoepfli scores!by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 RPI 0 (2nd) - 19 years ago
Bitz busts his stick right in front to miss a goal; otherwise not many chances on pp #2. Even strength. But another penalty on RPI now.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell 2 RPI 0 (2nd) - 19 years ago
According to the RPI announcer, McNeely hits Moulson to the head for a penalty, but Hynes retaliates so we're even 4x4.by Trotsky - Hockey
