Re: Greatest Game? - 3 years ago
George64 osorojo Any other old-timers attend the '66-67 NCAA semifinal game in Syracuse against North Dakota? Yes, 1-0! Beat BU the following night, 4-1, for the Championship. Ditto, when they came back for the 50 reunion I asked Walt Stanowski if he was offsides on his goal. I got a smile and nothing else. But as exciting as that was, I have to agree with Bill: “ If you're old enough,by Jim Hyla - Hockey

upprdeck most people wont take vaccines because they dont want the virus in them.. this stuff is not that and given information many may realize the issues are different. Most people don't take vaccines because they are under the mistaken impression that there is a significant risk of a worrisome side effect. Prime example is the idea that vaccines cause autism. As I've talked to patients,by Jim Hyla - Hockey

Troyfan They had on Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame last night. Did the King of Ivy ask how they did it? Excess of caution is great but not unlimitedly. The King of Ivy is the combined school presidents. Based upon how well CU is doing, I'm willing to give them enough slack to go along with their combined opinion. This is the worst medical problem that any of us have seen. Probably the worstby Jim Hyla - Hockey

Troyfan I missed the part where he murdered someone I guess. He did the crime and did his crime. He debt to society is paid. Felony convictions can't be used in employment convictions. Why should misdemeanors? I assume your second line was meant to say: "He did the crime and did his time. His debt to society is paid. Trotsky marty Scersk '97 Jim Hyla Tell me, what's wrong with Times Square? Basically within a block in any direction you have some of the best entertainment you can find. Once upon a time, the "best entertainment" was right in Times Square! Can't beat the "Tendersweet Fried Clams". Beats the fuck outta M&Ms anyway. Let's talk about the present, okay? Trotsky French Rage Oh Vegas is fine in small doses. We enjoyed the hockey weekend, just enough time to see the craziness but not get annoyed with it. I'd be more than happy to have a couple more hockey tournaments there and a FF on/near the West Coast is awesome too. We have friends who have lived in Vegas for a decade. abmarks French Rage upprdeck I see Atlantic Hockey might start as soon as Nov 13 now But when do real teams start? It tells about the time in which we're living that the only mention of fans was after they said that all NCHC games will be on NCHC.tv. Other than that, we don't matter.by Jim Hyla - Hockey

Trotsky Jeff Hopkins '82 upprdeck vegas in 2026 would be a fun time. Vegas is a sleaze hole.Only the casinos. Stay away from them and it's one of the most lovely locations in the country. LV is the same as NYC: just erase the people. In other words, LV is nice, as long as you're not in LV.by Jim Hyla - Hockey

ugarte Trotsky scoop85 ACM New arrivals. And one departure. Looks like a good move for Cairns. He never fully hit his stride at Cornell, but got his degree and now goes to another top-flight program where perhaps he’ll find his game.Disappointing. My guess is he knows UMD is going to endanger their players but not sure if we are (spoiler: we are). Welp. Fuck him. if he's a graduate tranby Jim Hyla - Hockey

I'm back. Not to arbitrarily pull us back to virus testing, but since I was mentioned, I'll try and explain this as much as I know it. As noted Jeff got an antibody test, which says nothing about current infection. It just means that you've had exposure to the virus, or part of the virus if you're dealing with immunization, and your immune system has reacted by making antibodies. Re: Rules Changes? - 3 years ago
ugarte it is inevitably always true that the people with money invested in the game - owners, tv networks, advertisers - spend more time thinking about what people who are hockey-curious but not hockey fans care about than hockey fans do. if you asked those people what you would probably find is that they hate ties. you can put a value judgment on it or on america, but ties are basically anathemaby Jim Hyla - Hockey

upprdeck the way things are now there is a chance the nHL season doesnt even start until Jan at this rate.. he could come back play the season and still play half a season of Pro after that. Jeff Hopkins '82 billhoward Brett Ungar ~'25 is from "Notre Dame Green Pond"? Makes one think of fertilizer runoff and algae. Well, there actually is a Green Pond. It's fairly nice with a private high school campus on three sides. OK, there's a corn field across the street, but the water usually overflows from the pond to the corn field. Give My Regards Jim Hyla And, by the way, I laugh, rather than get mad, at some jerk who talks about Dryden's undefeated season. Watching those seasons was a lot more fun than getting mad at the uninformed. This has probably been brought up before, but just to be an Dryden did have an undefeated season. His team didn't.
