dbilmes This press release sums up the expectations for the Archer years. As long as we finish higher in the standings than was predicted, the season will be a success. If Cornell finishes in 6th place in the Ivies, we can consider it another successful season! Our opening Ivy opponent, Yale, received 13 of 16 first-place votes. marty mike1960 Ken711 George64 I looked at the Athletic Department’s giving page today - with a week left in the fiscal year, football is at 52 percent of its funding goal! Compare that to women’s ice hockey (100%), wrestling (99%), sprint football (155%), rowing (98%) . . . Apparently, people are trying to send a message to AD Moore through their wallets! Re: Robert Trent Jones Golf Course Renovation - 11 months ago
upprdeck now into June and nothing has happened on the course. The bid stuff was done in April. Seems like they don't really have the money to continue maybe? It was awarded "Pending status" as are a lot of other awarded contracts. In some cases, the delay is caused by losing bidders requesting an appeal to determine why they weren't successful.by Ken711 - Other Sports

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Inside Lacrosse has announced its 2023 All-Americans, and CJ Kirst and Gavin Adler have been named to the first team. Adler is a two-time first-team honoree, and one of two first-team awardees to be a unanimous selection. Re: Men's Basketball 22-23 - 1 year ago
upprdeck I would think that he would need to make 3-4x his cornell money to be even in costs in NJ.. maybe he likes this lifestyle up here?? The opportunity to coach at your alma mater and the prestige of the Princeton name in recruiting may be too much to turn down if offered a chance, regardless of the salary. Anyway, I hope he stays and can build a strong team at Cornell.by Ken711 - Other Sports

I fear Princeton making a continued run in the tournament could mean their coach Mitch Henderson gets offered a higher level opening, and Brian Earl, a Princeton grad leaves Cornell to take his place.by Ken711 - Other Sports

Re: New athletic director Nicki Moore - 1 year ago
Cop at Lynah I actually asked Andy about this project back in June or July and he said the cost of construction had increased to a degree that the project was not viable until the costs came back down I guess I don't understand how are the costs going to come down? Unless, perhaps they scale back the size of the project, construction costs are always going higher every year.by Ken711 - Other Sports
Re: New athletic director Nicki Moore - 1 year ago
dbilmes Besides turning around the football program, our new AD has plenty of other challenges. This column in The Sun by a student-athlete paints a depressing picture of Cornell's sports facilities and blasts the relocation of the baeball field from central campus. "Collapsing pools. Broken and molding locker rooms. A legacy team being pushed from central campus. These are just some ofby Ken711 - Other Sports

upprdeck Cornell wins tomorrow to get to 7-5 Penn/brown would mean either all 3 tied or Cornell in 4th Princ/yale Princeton win could make a 4 way tie for 2nd. Will that ship sailed along with whatever mojo the team had this last of the season.by Ken711 - Other Sports
