Re: TIME CORRECTION: 8:00 PM - 19 years ago
Lol! This is pretty funny! CSTV has 2 different schedules on their site. One of them shows it at 8:00 PM: One of them shows the game at 7:00 PM: USCHO shows 7:00: Elynah (which is great but obviously not an "official" schedule) shows 7:00: So I just spoke to the Cornell athletics office and they've confirmed 8:00 Obviously feel free to go earlier (I'll prby bigggreddd77 - Hockey
TIME CORRECTION: 8:00 PM - 19 years ago
Yeah...I thought it was a little odd too. Leave it to me to think that I could rely on the official Cornell athletics site for the game time. CORRECTION: HAPPY HOUR WILL BE STARTING AT 8:00 PM (see other posts) Thanks Beeeeej! (for NOTHING! j/k ...ahhh...how long ago those irc days were)by bigggreddd77 - Hockey

Just bumping this up so people will still see it on the first page. I hope I'm not committing too much of a message board faux pas. Jasonby bigggreddd77 - Hockey

Re: 1/28 - Cornell vs. Clarkson Cornell Alumni Happy Hour in NYC - Park Avenue Country Club - 19 years ago
I've made a posting for the Park Avenue Country Club event to the NYC Cornell Alumni Yahoo bulletin board. For those of you that are in the area but are not on it, its a good way to find out about Cornell related events going on in the city. It also proves useful for job postings, apartments, etc. I recommend that you subscribe: big_red_bulby bigggreddd77 - Hockey

I was over at Blondie's and we also had about 10 people watching the CU/BC game. Thanks for the suggestions...I've been to Ship of Fools and agree that its a good place. I decided that it might be a better idea and get more people if we held this a little more towards the middle of the city so we're holding the event at Park Avenue Country Club. I'm sure that everyone here in NYC has theby bigggreddd77 - Hockey

To everyone in NYC and nearby, I'm a member of the Cornell BAR Committee (and a big Cornell hockey fan) who is in charge or organizing the monthly Cornell NYC Alumni happy hours. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that there will be a Cornell BAR Committee Happy Hour/Party centered around the viewing of the Cornell vs. Clarkson televised game on Friday night, 1/28. Thanks Beeeeeeeej...I think I understood that...hence the silly The actual text of the posting was pretty funny though which is why I posted it. I was more curious if the person who started this post was referring to/had a problem with the ebay postings or if there was some other 'scalping' going on... OK...so what about the people selling their tickets on ebay?? Though technically they are only selling envelopes with a bonus gift. I've cut and pasted for all of you who haven't looked...this is actually kind of funny: "You are bidding on a beautiful collectible envelope. I signed my name on it and it certainly is highly collectible. The winner of this auction will receive a CORNELLby bigggreddd77 - Hockey

Re: Photos from Sacred Heart Game - 19 years ago
Whoa...someone needs to relax a little. Those pictures are awesome...and as Age was saying about the colors...no doubt in my mind that those 'third' jerseys were done in a darker than normal color to match the traditional Cornell Red...this traditional red is what is now being used in the new Cornell logo/identity...from the identity styleguide: The program is based on an emblem that was deby bigggreddd77 - Hockey

Yeah...I know about cringing, but the fact of the matter is that 'one click laziness' is part of human nature these days...we all expect everything in front of our face on a silver platter. Hey...whatever makes you happy man...I'm just trying to give a little suggestion...I hope this doesn't take away from my praise for what you've done... Age... Let me start by saying that the work you've done and are currently doing on elynah is FANTASTIC and you should definitely be applauded... No doubt the site is impressive...and structure is important...but I think the user experience is the most important part of the end product. New Forum Migration? - 20 years ago
Age...everything looks great!!! You should be commended for the job that you do on this forum. That being said.... I saw your posting saying that all old features will be available after the migration....at what point is the migration considered 'complete' and I can ask about a feature that I noticed isn't there anymore? Re: numbers, numbers, numbers - 20 years ago
Ooooor... maybe...just maybe...both of these guys were big fans of the legendary goalie Grant Fuhr who was number 31? I mean...lots of athletes wear their favorite players numbers...just a thought. I don't know that the number choice is completely coincidence...their first names on the other hand... Post Edited (02-17-04 15:23)by bigggreddd77 - Hockey
