Al DeFlorio JasonN95 jeff '84 upprdeck still no plans for tv at this time Noticed this when I was accessing the CU/Navy basketball game. So possibly here? Thanks. There’s an app, but apparently it can’t stream the service’s premium content (at least on iOS) which I assume the MSG game will be, so you need to use its web browser interface. Roku, maybe? Re: Clarkson/SLU Weekend News - 4 years ago
upprdeck clarkson threw a bunch of long shots into traffic but didnt get many inside the dots all night. when they did Galajda made the saves that we needed. we missed many of the shots we have been making inside the 15 ft range. Those are the shots that if we make we will be solid as we get multiple of those each night so far this yr. Its great when the long range shots/deflections go in buby Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: 2019-11-15 Cornell at Clarkson - 4 years ago
Trotsky ugarteFWIW, I really liked the Clarkson guy calling the game on ESPN. No chatter, clean recitation of the action, no homerism except in the understandable enthusiasm distinction on the goal calls for the two teams.I agree completely. His calls for Knights goals were over the top but everything else was pure class and professionalism. Though I'm pretty sure even his class and professionby Chris '03 - Hockey

billhoward Al DeFlorio Insides kicking team needs work. All in all, it would have been a moral victory had the scored ended 20-16 Yale. Giving up a TD on that onsides kick. Ouch. Running that back for the score was bad football.by Chris '03 - Other Sports
Re: New Lynah scoreboard - 4 years ago
Just feels like a prelude to "last minute of play brought to you by Cayuga medical center" and pushing the same intermission videos we see on the stream. I bet there will be something unnecessary for when the team takes the ice too. Blech.by Chris '03 - Hockey

Trotsky Much as in the NHL, seeds are less important than in the other sports. Just get on the dance card. Here are the regional seeds of the national champions since we went to 4 regionals in 2003: 03 1 Minnesota 04 2 Denver 05 1 Denver 06 1 Wisconsin 07 3 Michigan State 08 2 BC 09 1 BU 10 1 BC 11 3 Minn-Duluth 12 1 BC 13 4 Yale 14 1 Union 15 4 Providence 16 1 North Dakotby Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: Cornell - Northeastern - 5 years ago
upprdeck from last years notes: Fairfield University and Yale University will co-host the 2018 Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Regional at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. The two schools also brought the regional to the state of Connecticut in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2014 no idea if 2 schools that both could qualify could do it.. but Syracuse/Cornell could do one or Cornell/UB/Buf St? Trotsky DafatoneI'm thinking of the team two years later that went undefeated at home (with a tie to Colgate). OK, I'm tracking. If I'm reading that correctly, Schafer has never lost more than 2 ECAC home games and won the Whitelaw in the same season?by Chris '03 - Hockey

TimV Harvard should feel very comfortable. Stands close to empty, just like a game at Lynah East. And they give up the first goal BC 1-0. And of course BC, losers of something like 25 straight nonconference games, beats Harvard in the beanpot.by Chris '03 - Hockey

BearLover Trotsky redice nshapiro And why were there TV timeouts when the game was being broadcast by RPItv and they did not have commercials? NCAA rules required it now... We're stuck with it!I prefer it. Along with the 19th man it's giving the players more rest and potentially cutting down on the injuries that accompany tired play. Better for everybody. Re: Cornell football 2018 - 5 years ago
marty George64 I watched the game on ESPN+ and it seemed that there were many commercial breaks. According to box scores, the SHU game ran for 3:10 and last week's Yale game ran 3:15. In contrast, the first two games on IDN last year, Colgate and Bucknell, ran for 2:41 and 2:36, respectively. Presumably, the many and lengthy commercials accounted for the extra 34 minutes per game.
