Re: Opponents and Others, 2021-22 - 2 years ago
ursusminor Both RPI and DC have postponed their games for the upcoming weekend. Thus, the Harvard-Union game is the only one of the 4 games in the RPI and Union vs. Dartmouth and Harvard set currently scheduled. Union @ Dartmouth now Wednesday January 26th. Dartmouth visits Lynah two days later.by Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: cornell covid testing - 2 years ago
Trotsky Chris '03 Harvard will be remote to open spring term. Would be reasonable to expect other schools to follow suit. IIRC we followed them in 2020. Gonna be something when they cancel their sports. Seems like lots of schools trying to find a balance. Yale and cornell now mandating boosters but still plan to open on time. Yale banning spectators from sports through at least 1/1. Unionby Chris '03 - John Spencer Is Dead

Re: Clarkson Game Thread - 2 years ago
RichH redice Is this the worst collapse in Cornell Hockey history or at least during Mike's tenure? It didn’t come at the end of the game, but I think the last time we played at Meehan, a bad Brown team scored 3 in under 60 seconds to tie about midway through the 3rd, and the game ended 3-3. That was pretty frustrating and shocking. Someone correct me if my memory messed up any details.by Chris '03 - Hockey
Re: Ivy Standings - 2 years ago
French Rage snert1288 The site also has us listed at 5-1 in conference. Should someone send RPI and Union a welcome basket? It says 3-1 Ivy and 5-1 ECAC, which seems correct. On mobile it only shows conference but not league unless you hit print. Naturally.by Chris '03 - Hockey
Ivy Standings - 2 years ago
Anyone know how Ivy standings are being calculated these days? The site lists only wins and losses. My guess is that they'd adopt the ECAC approach and Cornell would have 8 points at this point but it wouldn't surprise me for the league to do something different just to be different.by Chris '03 - Hockey

ECAC Schedule - 3 years ago
No Harvard until an ECAC final if this is correct. The ECAC is planning on a 20-game schedule. Teams will be broken into a New England division (Princeton, Yale, Brown, Harvard, Dartmouth and QU) and a New York division (Cornell, Clarkson, Colgate, RPI, Union, SLU). 4 games vs. each division opponent. NO games vs. other division.— Mike McMahon (@MikeMcMahonCHN) September 25, 2020 ?s=21by Chris '03 - Hockey

Jeff Hopkins '82 billhoward Tom LentoI'm assuming Dave is no longer the game night driver. I remember talking to him many years ago (early 00s, probably) and he was saying that he was doing as little of the driving/resurfacing work as possible because of the physical toll it takes, both in terms of the driving/maintenance/shoveling/etc. and the exposure to the exhaust.
