On another note, during the National Anthem you guys yell RED! and we yell (K)NIGHT! (I don't yell anything, just the way I was raised.) I don't have a problem with either side putting emphasis on either RED or NIGHT as I think it is clever play on words, but I think adding SUCKS after "knight" during the anthem is a little tasteless. Bill, Shots are very indicative of which team carries the play. However, I am Machiavellian by nature, and if we won both games in 2 OT and were outshot 400-8 so be it. All I can ask was that my team give me a chance to win each game. They gave me that. That is why the losses sat "OK" in my belly.by Drew - Hockey

JTW, I love the entire Hot Truck Concept and I went for "The Full Sui" It seemed most apropo after the 2 double OT losses and the Hillside accomodations it was great! Delta, We were going to stay at the Statler, but we got a load of the hillside and both of us could not stop laughing, we were home....it was just missing Archie Bunker, since they already had his furniture. I just got back from Ithaca, my first time there. My thoughts, in a nutshell: We pulled in about 3:30 ( which made for a 3 1/2 hour drive, yes we were driving at a good clip and no stops). Had a couple of cocktails at Ruloff's I like the place and the proximity. We were suprised at the lack of hotels/motels in college town. We found the Chapter House and enjoyed that very much, since we waby Drew - Hockey

Just got back from a fund raiser, see you boys pulled out the first one. Too late for me to read all the threads, sysnopsis for me is always shots on goal, 50ish-30ish it appears you carried the game. if so, nicely done. 2ot's say my boys hung tough. Ok, so tomorrow, time permitting, I will try ruloffs for a pregame beer and burger, after the game the chapter house for post game festivites ....by Drew - Hockey

Nice article. In comparing this team to our team 2 years ago I would say you overlooked one glaring thing and that is maturity. Also, the team two years ago underachieved the entire regular season and peaked for the playoffs. IMHO they were never given the credit they deserved. This years team is young and talented, and has 3 lines that score consistently.....maybe even four. Here are the topby Drew - Hockey

RichHDrewThanks, where is a decent place for a pre game beer? Please do not suggest Potsdam, cleveland, syracuse...etc. Pregame, I suggest Ruloff's on College Ave. Right near the entrance to campus, and walkable to Lynah...they also have food. The Nines is another block down the road, and has good deep-dish pizza as well as beer...but you have to wait a long time for pizza, usually. Postby Drew - Hockey

I too, am excited because it is Cornell/Clarkson. I still see the Clarkson team as a year or two away from making a real run. The team is young and has not learned to win on the road, as of yet. They need to learn how to play in a hostile evironment, none better than Lynah. If we win, it will be big upset, if we lose I see it as "tempering of the sword" for the upcoming years.
