Iggy adds a goal vs Lowell, while Moulson, Pokuluk and Lenny ride the pine in their games. apparently Pokuluk has a concussion-like symptom and left Saturday's game early.by The Rancor - Hockey

Re: Jack Johnson Traded - 17 years ago
though i wonder if this sheds some light into moulson's situation, in that he may have deflected or turned down offers from pittsburgh to go pro and they were pissed at him for it.by The Rancor - Hockey
Re: What's the word on Moulson? - 17 years ago
calgARI '07TrotskycalgARI '07I would be shocked if Moulson made the Kings this year. It would of course be GREAT if Matt made the N, this year, or any year, but does he strike anybody else as a classic long career AHL player -- the kind of guy who wins scoring titles in the minors but never gets promoted? No doubt about it. Doesn't have the skating or the ability in physical play in my opiniby The Rancor - Hockey

Re: Rumor: Moulson to Kings? - 17 years ago
wow... he will meet up in the 'shootout' with sharks, ducks and 'yotes prospects from cornell, in a strange reunion. i'm glad to know he is playing with some one, but i guess i saw him as much better fit with the penguins. I dont know enough about the kings org. to see where he will fit in. hopefully on a line with dustin brown. if he ever signsby The Rancor - Hockey

“Ed is one of the most successful and talented goaltenders in the National Hockey League. It was our goal to add more depth at the goaltending position and we feel we have sufficiently addressed this area with the acquisitions of Ed, Alex Auld and Craig Anderson during the off-season” Keenan said. “These three players will provide us with a solid base in goal within our club, along with Jean-Marcby The Rancor - Hockey

Re: Current Team Members In Pro Prospect Camps - JULY '06 - 17 years ago
from hockeysfuture.com Tony Romano, C -- N.Y. Bobcats (AJHL) 7th pick, 6th round, 178th overall The Devils more often than not draft more than one player from the NCAA, or a player that is NCAA-bound. In the sixth round, they added a second collegiate bound player when they took undersized but offensively gifted center Tony Romano from the New York Bobcats of the Atlantic Junior Hockeyby The Rancor - Hockey

Re: Recruits 2006 - the Offseason thread - 18 years ago
DeltaOne81The Rancor though he did not play this year in college, his 4 year clock was still ticking acording to NCAA rules. he is a hockey junior, with only 2 seasons left to play uless he can get a retroactive redshirt, which he won't. Well, but, you have 5 years to use your 4 years of eligibility. If Davenport doesn't get a 'red shirt' (non-medical of course, unless there's a different) fby The Rancor - Hockey
Re: Recruits 2006 - the Offseason thread - 18 years ago
DeltaOne81 I mean, I guess I can understand Davenport being denied sophomore status for taking the year off if the Ivies really want to be mean about it, but then how would Fontas get junior status when the guy has been in school. That leaves two weird situations: Fontas potentially graduating despite being a 'junior', and Davenport having not graduated, nor having even been in school four yearby The Rancor - Hockey
Re: McKee signs with Anaheim - 18 years ago
bye bye! i'm feeling a little bitter, because i feel he could do more staying at cornell than in the minors. oh well. say hell ot Hynes!by The Rancor - Hockey
Re: McKee signs with Anaheim - 18 years ago
Towniescoop85Yes, best of luck to Dave. I thought this move was all but certain when Davenport came back into the fold. Speaking of which, how has Troy been doing in jrs? Would those "in the know" share some insights about next year's goalies? he has had a great season in juniors. one of the top GAA and save %. 2003-04 Green Bay Gamblers USHL 49 1 0 0 2740 124 0 2 2.72 24 19by The Rancor - Hockey
