Re: Brown game - 22 years ago
Cornell managed not to suffer a letdown against SLU after the Clarkson game; in general, I think we're better off having the "big" game first, since the worries of looking past the "little" game are more substantial than the present letdown concernsby jtwcornell91 - Hockey

Of course, the clever title for my email would have been "gnomes and <em>elves</em>". Ah well.by jtwcornell91 - Hockey

Huh. Mapquest does give the right directions (as does Yahoo). Of course, Mapquest's directions do say "BINGHAMPTON"by jtwcornell91 - Hockey

The standard way I know is: Mass Pike/NY Thruway (I-90/87/90) to Schenectady I-88 from Schenectady through Oneonta to Bainbridge 206 from Bainbridge to Whitney Point 79 from Whitney Point to Ithaca 206 and 79 might be sketchy in bad weather, in which case you might want to fall back on the official directions which probably tell you to go via Syracuse.by jtwcornell91 - Hockey

Now, you see, that sort of rhetoric is how web design holy wars get started. I could counter that if you write for the spec and not the browser, the number of hoops through which you have to jump is greatly reduced, and mention lynx, Mozilla for GNU/Linux, Konqueror, Opera, etc. But then I'd really just be venting my frustrations at secretaries who ask me to send them a word document because thby jtwcornell91 - Hockey

Can't say I care for the fixed width fonts in the messages (incidentally, you should add "monospace" to the end of the font-family list for .PhorumMessage). Presumably the one advantage of using them would be the chance for people to line up ASCII tables, but that still won't work, unless you enclose each message in a <PRE></PRE> (Stops to try it...)by jtwcornell91 - Hockey
