Re: forgotten cheer - 21 years ago
care to join me in shoving those things up the owners' asses? it's lynah. use your voice. I'm sure all of us on this forum end up with no voices after games...it's only fair. anyways...a noisemaker...that's a little wimpy isn't it?by judy - Hockey
Re: [Road trip] North Country? - 21 years ago
Question tossed out to the masses: How long do you think it'd take to get to the North Country from Albany and what would be the best route?by judy - Hockey
whcu? - 21 years ago
Which station is WHCU (on my AM dial)? I know I can catch it once I've hit Binghamton... and I know I probably could've searched the threads with the handy dandy search button... but i figured this was easier to see And for wondering minds...yes, I'll make it there...eventually...I hope so...or someone may die...by judy - Hockey
Re: copyrights - 21 years ago
How about "Cambridge College"? Doesn't someone here (Ben???) have a big ol' "Welcome to Cambridge College" sheet that gets brought out every year?by judy - Hockey

Re: Links to free audio broadcasts by Cornell's opponents - 21 years ago
Chiming in...I guess... Spent way too much money and time following Cornell hockey team around last year but something's got to be said for paying all that money to be able to actually see the play, and cheer with others, and at least for me, make comments to melissa who would be standing next to me, as opposed to listening to a game over the internet with no atmosphere, hoping the feed doesn't dby judy - Hockey

Melissa and I are in the two seats directly behind you! Maybe the two of us should just apologize now if we should cause you to go deaf for a night...by judy - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. York, 10/27 - 21 years ago
So, otherwise, how do they look? First game of the year, do they still remember how to pass the puck or will it take a couple of more weeks for them to remember how to do it?by judy - Hockey
Re: Cornell at Harvard Tickets - 21 years ago

Re: options to this Sunday's game - 21 years ago
This morning, leaving for work, my thought was, "Need to see another game this weekend..." But I guess I won't be hearing the Cornell one. We're going to get some good reports on this game...right...? As to the stupid sniper... Basically, no one wants to go into the suburbs down here. This means no shopping, no pumping gas. Expensive gas stations on the east side of DC that would otheby judy - Hockey
tix for BU - 21 years ago
So the BU games (and thanksgiving) is in a month. I know the question has come up but as the dates draw near, anyone have any clues about the ticket situation? Is there anyone on campus reading this forum that knows that they (or other friends) won't be here for one or both of the games and want to sell their tickets? Has anyone explored the option of calling the BU ticket people yet? and I maby judy - Hockey
options to this Sunday's game - 21 years ago
I'm thinking correctly right? There's a game this Sunday. (Sorry, a bit out of it) So what are my options, being in DC and being lazy and not wanting to drive up this season...or at least this game? 1. internet stream - I get a free trial...yes? no? 2. lynah cam?by judy - Hockey
nhl.com mention - 21 years ago
nhl.com has a preview (or, short little blurbs) of the various leagues...what they start with for the ECAC: Remember a pipe-dweller from Cornell named Dryden? "David LeNeveu has a chance to be one of the best goalies we ever had here," said Big Red coach Mike Schafer. "And those are pretty strong words, considering the number of goalies this place has produced." Put Hobey finaby judy - Hockey

Melissa is correct, I too would be looking for tickets to the BU series.by judy - Hockey
Re: most recent alumni magazine - 21 years ago
It's also one of the more damn annoying things because the number of red (or shades of red) articles of clothing in my wardrobe is slowly increasing!!! But no, I'm not going to show up naked one day at a game due to my refusal to wear red. I have an equal if not greater number of pieces of black clothing!by judy - Hockey

Anyone have any news on the new pep band cd that was recorded at Harvard/Brown this year?by judy - Hockey

Re: [NHL] I went to a hockey game... - 22 years ago
read an article recently talking about the fans Carolina has amassed and I think the ESPN guys brought up a good point. Carolina has an NBA team and an NHL team...which team is moving? the Hornets. But then, the fan base has built slowly and they're doing pretty well this year so don't quite know if it's a lot of bandwagon fans mixed in or not. Anyways, yeah, it does feel wrong to see hockey plaby judy - Hockey
Re: [NHL] I went to a hockey game... - 22 years ago
and to think, Melissa and I were hoping to make it up to Montreal to catch a game...what's happened to Montreal? I also wonder what Theodore's thinking having let in some large number of goals in the last 3 games... anyone taking bets on the final score of this game?by judy - Hockey

Re: Harvard "fans" - 22 years ago
they were right next to me in the aisles. not scrawny enough to not be football players but at the same time, scrawny enough that they might get the crap beaten out of them on the field if they were...but there did look like there were muscles there...not much in the brains department though. it's been a while, the memory's failing me and I was also too pissed off at the time to really notice.
