Re: Other Playoff Games - 3/17/06 - 18 years ago
sucks and the st pattys day boys are scoreless, dartmouth has carried play with some decent chances. slow start to the game though. they mentioned neither team is home, but that is because they dont have fansby jy3 - Hockey

nyc94jy3nyc94For what it's worth, the pink lettering barely shows up on my screen. Maybe find something closer to crimson. yeah it was a joke obviously, i can just make them bold Oh I got the joke it's just now I actually want to read the numbers without my face an inch from the screen. did the bold help?by jy3 - Hockey

Re: Why I will be (shudder) rooting for Sucks tomorrow - 18 years ago
schoaffTrotskyschoaffshe's putting up with me climbing around in trees with a running chainsaw so the new satellite dish will have a clear view for tomorrow's game. Are they your trees? No, but if I'm caught I'll lie and say I'm doing it to watch Gators football games. Isn't a jury in Florida that would convict me for that. unless they are 'noles or 'canes fansby jy3 - Hockey

TCHL8842DeltaOne81 Just sucks that Harvard is #7, and can't seem to even lose the two seed - and definitely not the tournament. Here you go Harvard ends up 15th and out of the tourney * CCHA Semifinal #2: Michigan State defeats Michigan. * CCHA Semifinal #1: Northern Michigan defeats Miami. * CCHA Championship game: Northern Michigan defeats Michigan State. * CCHA Conby jy3 - Hockey
Re: Lynah renovations - 18 years ago
nyc94I guess I keep coming back to the attractiveness of the design and the fact that since Bartels was completed in 1990 they have slapped on the Friedman weight room and now the Lynah addition. Can anyone at Cornell see down the road further than five or six years and anticipate future needs? Maybe when they built Bartels they could have expanded Lynah in that direction. i think all of us knoby jy3 - Hockey

WillbillhowardPlus, you'd swear it was frozen most of the time, because all you see is two guys seating in row 8 with Dunkin Donuts coffee cups, and no motion. If they had Dunkin' Donuts coffee cups, that truly would be remarkable. the cups are only 40 minutes awayby jy3 - Hockey
Re: 2006 Pairwise Comparisons Projections: the Final Stretch! - 18 years ago
holy cross to 10 without winning their tourney? that is impressive. of course with cornell out, this would not be an acceptable resultby jy3 - Hockey
Re: getting $ back for sunday tickets - 18 years ago

Re: ECAC QF Games of Sunday - 18 years ago
yeah we are 5th tied with miami but own their comparison. now if we could win the UND comparison... i doubt cc will fall far enough for their season to be over, but you never know. wins go far when other teams are not playingby jy3 - Hockey

Re: 2005-2006 PWR - playoffs edition! - 18 years ago
after the nodak win we are alone at #6 with 33/22/11 umd winning would be huge for cornell as we played them, for the ecachl as that would mean denver will likely fall below dartmouth -> one more possible ecachl for a remote chance at an at large if dartmouth doesnt win albanyby jy3 - Hockey
Re: 2005-2006 PWR - playoffs edition! - 18 years ago
going to update the rankings on the first page after the scores are done. lets try not to update scores here as that is why the previous thread was huge and unwieldyby jy3 - Hockey

Re: were they chanting? - 18 years ago
yeah the stuff from the crowd came from a lot of kids who rushed down after the game winning goal. at least there were about 8 of them in the isles of section D/e/f. course some idiot students did it as well... the moulson cheer was clear in Eby jy3 - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs. Clarkson, Game 2 POSTGAME - 18 years ago
some things about this weekend... first, the games were well-worth the inflated price we paid to go to them. leggio looked much better as the series progressed, after the second period of game one he really was consistent and solid. nothing too flashy and sometimes overaggressive but he deserves a nod after those two nights. Cornell had long stretches of domination during both games interby jy3 - Hockey
