Could this be the definitive season extender?
Can they pull off another big surprise, like they did against the Orange?!
Hey, let's hear a rousing chorus of....
"Let's Go Red!!"

Brown just took a massive dump on the program.
There's young, and then there's just average.

Brown and many other teams use to be on the receiving end of such a blow-out. Oh how times have changed.

A better head coach is needed, not some I will be the interim during a difficult firing, and for my loyalty the head job! Andy through and through.

Cornell was 16x23 on clears but it felt more like 16x32. In the face of a clearly better team, Cornell got overwhelmed. Too many forced and unforced errors, inability to penetrate in close on attack.
Still, the game drew 1,300 for Senior Day and also to honor the three Ned Harkness lax teams of the 1966-7-8 that went 35-1 just before the NCAA went from polls to competition to determine the national champion.
This was the first game I saw since the West Stands came down. The fencing and dark plastic or canvas shielding almost makes you forget it was ever there, although the press box looks a long, long way away from the field now.
We close at Princeton Saturday and it should be a close game as almost all of them are, just this time not to determine the Ivy title but to avoid being next to last, above only winless Dartmouth.

Agree with this entirely. In a sport devoid of innovation, having a coaching staff that can do different things is maybe all it takes. This is Brown's 10th year under Tiffany, but it's only the second year since they brought on Sean Kirwan from Tufts who has completely transformed their offense to a level that isn't often seen at D1. In 2013-2014, Brown went 8-6 (2-4 Ivy) and scored 10.14 goals per game. Kirwan was hired in August 2014. In 2014-2015, they went 12-5 (4-2 Ivy) and scored 13.94 goals per game. Now with most of the same personnel returning this season, they're up to 17 goals per game.
Cornell is a proud program with a rich tradition, and I wish our coaching staff was reflective of that, and was pushing the way the game is played in a way that Brown now seems to be.

Yes, clearly Kirwin has made a world of difference. The good news is he's been so successful that he probably won't be back at Brown next year. The bad news is he'll probably be HC at Princeton.

It will be interesting to see if Brown can keep this up next year, when most of the scorers will have graduated (though Molloy is back, I beleive).
As for coaching: For me, the jury is still out on Kerwick. We'll see what happens next year.

My feeling as well. Let's see what next season brings.

Dylan Molloy is a junior and this isn't hockey so he'll be back. The leading goal scorer #8 Bellistri (4G 2A vs. us) is a senior and the second leading assist guy after Molloy #6 Blynn (3-2 vs. Cornell) is a senior, too. So are the next couple scoring leaders, too. 2016 is Brown's year. Next year they'd need to really reload.CU77

Brown has a good chance in the NCAAs. #1 Notre Dame got its second loss at UNC this week so one-loss Denver will probably move up a spot to #1 and Brown moves to #2. FWIW. Other than the inexplicable OT loss to Bryant, the closest games for Brown have been wins by 2 vs. Albany and Yale.
