A lot of people have credited our strong defensive efforts over the years to DeLuca. For me, Tambroni's success as a coach was his ability to fill holes every year with guys who we'd never heard of who were waiting in the wings, an ability to convert players to different positions, and find hidden gems from non-hotbed areas. As an in-game coach, I was never a huge fan of his style and inability to use time-outs...Good luck to Deluca.

I can't imagine how this transition could have been quicker or could have gone more smoothly. One hopes that if, say, a similar transition were to happen in the hockey ranks, it would also go just as well.
