2-2 in the first quarter. Glynn is back and is even taking faceoffs after Cornell got burned on a faceoff loss for a goal.

We're playing out of control and Harvard is taking advantage of every opportunity.

Down 5-2 and not playing smart lacrosse. Better get a grip here quickly or this could get ugly.

We're also not winning faceoffs and I don't think Harer has made a save yet. 5-2 Harvard and we lose another faceoff.

Things turned around when we were taking a shot every five seconds, few of which were any good. Pike made a couple of saves early on that hurt, too.

Wonder if we'll see Myers in goal.

Someone needs to tell Romero about shooting high-to-low or low-to-high.

Harvard has 5 saves; Harer has none. Harvard has 6 goals on 12 shots; Cornell 3 on 16.

Playing a much cleaner game now and closed it to a 7-6 lead for sucks.

Shame they could't tie it at the half. Lots of chances. I'd like to see Calvert on the first midfield. Pike's saves have really hurt us. Shots are 33-16 Cornell but selection hasn't been good. D tightened up in the second period and has to keep that up as Harvard will slow it down even further.

Pike is killing us.

Yet a check on Pike by Finn during a clearing attempt results in a big turnover and a score on the empty cage.

Myers with a few big saves. 13-11, Red.

Several chances to go up by 3 but couldn't do it. Now down to 1 goal.

Yup, 1 minute left and Harvard has the ball down 1 goal. Fortunately Myers has looked much better than Harer, but it would be nice if we had the ball.

Did. H worked it in close, and either a D or Myers got a piece of it to turn it over. Seibald barrels down the sideline. TO Cornell with 8 seconds left, ball possession and a 1-goal lead.

Helluva game played by Harvard. Time to regroup for Syracuse.

Real gut check win. I think it's safe to say Myers starts on Tuesday. Harvard is real good, and will beat a lot of people left on the schedule. A few too many turnovers, but the offense was good overall. Panell is a magician, and Max stepped up big time. But Glynn's guttiness is the real story today. Won a bunch of FO's and played with enormous heart.

Princeton leading Syracuse 10-7 mid-fourth.

And Princeton wins it 12-8. I feel this is bad luck for us. I'd much rather have Syracuse coming into Tuesday with a 6 game win streak than coming in trying to avenge a loss from their previous effort...

Agreed, except maybe it exposes some weaknesses we can exploit. Here are two articles from Syracuse.com (The Post-Standard) on today's games.

Brown scored seven straight to rally from a 9-6 deficit midway in the third to beat Yale, 13-9. A Brown loss there would have been nice.

On the bright side, the better they, the higher our SOS.

Except that we play both Brown and Yale once each, since the Ivy tournament doesn't start until next year. (Kind of like with the Princeton-Syracuse game today.) OTOH, it's probably better to have the top four Ivies beat up on the others in order to generate better potential "quality wins".

SU has some issues. they struggle on FO at times. they are lazy wth the ball, but at home they score in spurts.

Fiorito's fifteen saves made it difficult to "score in spurts." Galloway had only seven or eight for Syracuse.
