"Known as a banger with toughness and a knack for playing defense and rebounding."
Is this anything like a "grinder?"
Looks like a great addition.

Pretty funny. . . a bunch of Kentucky fans arguing about Coury on a CBS message board:
[74.125.47.132]
Another note, he was also in Anaheim for the first round of the NCAA tourney last year. Its not too absurd to think that Cornell's appearance in that region had something to do with his decision to transfer here.

Given the way we played, doubtful.

You think our performance had something to do with his decision? Why didn't he transfer to Marquette?
(We all knew it would take a small miracle for an Ivy team to knock off a Pac-10 team, centered by a pair of 7-foot, soon-to-be top-15 NBA draft picks. Maybe this kid realized he was seeing a great Ivy team that was completely over-matched. At least that's what I saw from my seat under the basket.)
