On Saturday January 24th 2009, the life and legacy of George Boiardi will be celebrated at the 4th annual 21 Dinner.
Boiardi proudly wore the number 21 as a captain of the Cornell Lacrosse team. George was an accomplished student, athlete, and campus leader who was committed to joining Teach For America’s South Dakota corps. All proceeds from this years’ dinner will benefit The Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to empower the next generation through athletics and academics.
The 21 Dinner, to be held at Bridgewaters, 11 Fulton St. in New York, will feature Stephen Paletta, Cornell alumnus, social entrepreneur and winner of the television show, “Oprah Winfrey’s Big Give.” The evening will be emceed by ESPN reporter, author and Cornell alumnus, Jeremy Schaap.
The 21 Dinner is one of several events hosted by The Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation, New York State nonprofit. Tax ID #: 26-1141871.
