Campus has been swarming with recruits visiting this spring, and we could be adding a couple guys in the next week or two, including some possible transfers from some "big name" college programs. Lets hope for some good news soon!
Big Red lost just one senior from the 22-6 (14-0 Ivy) team, but return the top 5 scorers (including 4 All Ivy players).
Schedule so far has unconfirmed games against Indiana, Syracuse, Minnesota, Siena, LaSalle and 4 guaranteed games in the Preseason NIT (looks like we get either B.C. or St. John's in the first round).

We are talking to several transfers right now and could bring on board as many as four of them. They are all different sizes and skill sets. Some of these guys will need to sit out this year, but there are some who can play right away because they did not spend last season at a Division I program (but still have D-I experience).
Looks like we may snag a couple really good ones-- and there is no downside to their sitting out a year. Just provides continuity for after our juniors (Wittman, Dale, Gore, Foote et al) graduate in May 2010.
After looking at some of these guys, you get the feeling that our program has really arrived. We would not be talking to this kind of talent 10 years ago.

Just an FYI. We may be publishing a story on a new recruit later today or tomorrow on the Cornell Basketball Blog. We are waiting for confirmation of the verbal commitment from a few sources. But we believe the commitment is a done deal. Will publish news when/if it is official.
