Cornell blocks a field goal. The Lions' unis are whiter than usual, making them look like the full-body underwear in a Chaplin Yukon movie.

Nice start in the battle for the cellar.
Note that with Penn at Harvard today, Cornell likely can get to at worst 6th via their own efforts.

Liuzza brings back memories of single-wing tailbacks from the 50s and early 60s. What goes around comes around.

They still look better than the (almost) all yellow uniforms that West Virginia wore on Thursday night and that the Univ. of Oregon has worn in the recent past as part of their 301(?) possible uniform combinations courtesy of Nike. barf

Don't get me started on the Ducks. My wife is an alumna of UO, and I've seen their unis go from classic beauty to the hideous evil of the swooshtika. bang

Nice job by Liuzza there, taking a broken play and not panicking. Maybe he can transfer to Notre Dame...

It's back-and-forth. Can't say I like it much. "Get off my lawn!"

Game started with Liuzza and Ganter alternating, but it's been all Liuzza since. Liuzza runs like Gary Wood.

Harvard up 17-7 on Penn mid fourth
Yale up 10-3 on Princeton end of the third

For anyone that cares this could set up a Harvard - Yale game with actual meaning: two 6-0 teams for the Ivy title.

Would be nice if it were for a I-AA berth. :-/

Instead it will be for bragging rights amongst the octogenarians in the crowd.

Willignham can coach, Weis can recruit. Can we have co-coaches?

Great. Now the CU announcers call out Weis. My day is complete.

From the box score: Attendance 3369. That's about what Cornell drew at Yale in hockey Friday (well, official attendance).

Okay, it was 40, overcast, with showers.

And it felt much colder than that, as it usually does up in the Crescent.
