Men's soccer off to 5-2 start and look great. Unfortunately, Harvard looks even better... the Crimson just tied the defending natl champs UCSB,
Cornell field hockey is off to a 5-2 start, but lost a tough Ivy game to Penn.
Athletics program really seems to be getting stronger across all sports.

Was a good game but BU has a very good team and their keeper (6' 4" made a couple of great saves (for his 6th shutout this year) and the Big Red lost 3-0.
Game was fairly even in the first half although BU had some real speed up front and on the attacking midfield areas. Second half BU seemed to wear the big red down and BU scored the first goal on a beautiful cross that their striker just beat defender to with a lunge of a leg and toe to punch it in.
Cornell played more aggressively in last 20 minutes pushing forward and got burned twice in last 15 mins by that ... - so game was close but BU had an advantge at keeper and slight one in speed and maybe weight. A fun game to watch - stands were packed reported 1860 + in attendance.
p.s. BU pep band was trying but have a long way to go to even be in same class as the Cornell Pep Band!
