An update on the 2007 final four in Baltimore on Memorial Day weekend (if you think this post might count as woofing, don't skip the last paragraph):
Here's the official site: [lax4baltimore.org]
For tickets, the site sends you to ticketmaster.com. Ticketmaster, as is often the case, is not offering consumers a complete range of seating choices. The last time I checked (a few weeks ago), they were only selling tickets in one section in the corner of the M&T Bank Stadium's lower bowl.
If you're not happy with the ticket options available via Ticketmaster, I recommend buying them directly from the Baltimore Ravens. The last time I checked, they were selling good sideline tickets in the stadium's upper levels -- something that Ticketmaster wouldn't sell at the time. Try calling 410-261-7283.
I strongly recommend attending this event even if Cornell is upset in the playoffs, and even if you have issues with the Baltimore lacrosse aristocracy. It really is magical to see the sport played in a world-class venue in front of a crowd of 50,000+ (it will probably be larger this time), with no marks on the field other than those required by lacrosse. Although I prefer Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, M&T Bank Stadium's location in the heart of Baltimore more than makes up for the Linc's slightly better sightlines and intimacy.

Doesn't the Ivy "group" get an AQ? The article on the site (press CONTINUE) says the other four AQ's (besides Navy, Notre Dame, and Georgetown) "will be filled by May 6." I thought the Ivy season ended on Saturday, and Cornell clinched the championship against Princeton a week ago.
Is this more Southern myopia?

The Ivy League champion is also an automatic qualifier so the story did miss that piece.

The Swami revoked the Ivy Group AQ. Fingers crossed that we get an at-large bid.

Maybe they decided the Ivy "Group" is too weak to get an auto-bid. If we're lucky we'll get an at-large bid and they'll send us to Towson again.Swampy
