The Cornell basketball program is currently offering "high major" Division I programs an opportunity for a 2-for-1 series. The series would start in Ithaca for the 2007-2008 season in Newman Arena and then Cornell would play on the road the next two seasons.
Cornell has not hosted a "high major" since Georgia Tech visited Newman Arena on November 23, 2003. The game, broadcast on College Sports Television (CSTV), drew 4,762 fans. That same year, Georgia Tech went on to advance to the Final Four.

Well, if they include that information in their "sales pitch" (Play in Ithaca, it is part of The Road to the Final Four), that might help.

Right, and after listening to Jim Boheim complain on every sports show in America about Syracuse getting snubbed by the dance committee, maybe next year he will finally get his team on a bus and play us in Ithaca.

Probably not. I think part of Syracuse's problem was that their NC schedule did not get them out of NY state.
