Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, between THE ALL CAPS and an automatic refresh function that updates too frequently, that is a hard page to read.

Argh! In his second match of the season, Arnone loses in the round of 16 by "injury default."
Nickerson, Frey, Leen, Agozzino, Anceravage, Hogle, Rinaldi into quarterfinals.

Nickerson (1) in the finals at 125 against the 2 seed.
Frey (8) in the finals at 133 against the 2 seed.
Leen (3) in the finals at 149 against the 1 seed.
Anceravage (2) in the finals at 165 against the 1 seed.
Hooker (Uns.) lost in the first round but battled back through the consy bracket (including a win over the wrestler that beat him in the opening round) to take 5th with wins over the 6, 8 and 9 seeds along the way. Congrats, Joey. Very well done.
Rinaldi (2) got hurt in the semis of the main bracket and the subsequent forfeits in the consy bracket dropped him to 6th. I hope it wasn't serious and congrats, Jerry, on the pre-injury success.
The team is currently in 3d in the team standings.

Two 1sts, two 2nds, a 5th and a 6th that would have probably been a 2nd but for an injury. The only disappointing result was Luke Hogle, the 7th seed at 174 (though Joey Hooker's surprising 5th place finish in the same weight class more than makes up for it), plus the aforementioned injuries to Rinaldi and Arnone. It all added up to a solid 3rd place for Cornell, just edging Edinboro - probably as well as we possibly could have finished with Missouri and Minnesota in the field.

Agree. Frey's debut was really something. If they can all stay healthy, we have four guys (Nick, Frey, Leen, Rinaldi) who are solid contenders for the highest level at NCAAs. Anceravage is close to it, as well. Apparently he was well ahead of the Edinboro kid, found himself in a position which could have ended in a fall either way, and came out on the bottom end.ugarte

Dickey, Arnone, and Rinaldi are all supposed to be healthy for next weekend's dual with a very tough Penn State. Now, why doesn't Hit-or-Miss-Access webcast that?

Good to see Cornell kick Stanford's butt in something. I live in Palo Alto and attend a lot of Stanford events. I root for Stanford but they are just too good in too many sports. They have won something like the last 12 Sears Cups.
