Really RichH, when I come to the JSiD board, its because I want to read posts on John Spencer being Dead, or other various unrelated topics. I do *not* come here to waste my time, reading posts that people made and then decided to replace with phrases like 'nevermind'.
If that's the kind of content you want to indulge in, then fine, but I suggest you take it to a more appropriate location, and not a location designed for OT but *real* topics. Just do a Google search and I'm sure you'll come up with an appropriate board for vacant drivel, such as the Non-posts Aplenty Forum, or the Clarkson Roundtable.
But please, there are those of us who want to use this forum for this specific set of various off-topic topics, and there's no reason to polute the forum dedicated to this with all sorts of off-topic non-topics.

Ah, good. But really, I can't believe it took this long for the ironic backlash posts to roll in. In the future, I'll try to be courteous to you and remember that you don't come here to read posts that are deleted.
I posted something here about hockey by accident, but I realized that this forum wasn't the place for such off-topic on-topicness. So I just made it non-topic to protest the lack of a non-topic forum.
To make up for it, here's an off-topic: Peter Tomarken, host of "Press Your Luck" died in a plane crash in Santa Monica, CA recently. Everyone should feel free to fill this thread with Whammy poetry as a tribute.
