Just curious if anyone expects Matt to get significant playing time this year and develop into a scorer at the D-1 level. I was doing some reading on the New York Applecore/EJHL and saw that he played there. It seemed like he was a highly regarded prospect who has fallen off the map. I've never seen him play.

There wont be a whole lot of spots available on the right side with Scott, Sawada McCutcheon, Carefoot, Romano, Milo, Gallagher. At the same time, Scott can play center or left wing (played right wing last year), Romano, Milo, and Gallagher can play center and Milo plays left wing as well I believe. Regardless, Sawada, McCutcheon, and Carefoot will definitely be on there.

Since we are speculating about next season's roster, anybody want to guess what's going to happen in net?

I thought Davenport was our best option. Anything in that regard change?

They may split some time, but I would be surprised if Davenport were not the undisputed #1 by midseason. I'm actually not very worried about goaltending. Defense on the other hand...

We haven't had a true goaltending battle since Underhill / Leneveu in '02, and that was a case of an established senior and an interloper freshman. We haven't had two non-seniors split significant time since Burt / Underhill in '00.

Is there an emoticon for a guy holding up a mirror? It'd be perfect here.
