hey all,
Just talked to TWC and the only way you can get the Cornell-CC game on saturday is if you have the SPORTS TIER digital package with them. The channel is like 200 and something. If you have standard cable, they said to stop by the Ithaca TWC office to pick up a converter box and you can have this set up within a day.
Also, I guess this means any of the local sports bars in ithaca will be able to get the game as well.
there it is.

I already have digital cable, but not the sports tier package.
Is it possible to sign up and then cancel a week later (or even a day or two) and only get charged a partial month?

The information above about sports tier is apparently outdated, as per info in other threads.

The game won't be on the Sports pack (tier) at any time but rather will be on ch 26 tape-delayed at Sunday 11 a.m.
FYI, the Sports Pack is only $4.95 per month, we get it for hockey season and then cancel it. You can get partial months...but it's cheap and well worth it for longer if you're into college hockey.
