Paging Jimmy Devellano...
Obligatory content: will anyone be on the chat for Tuesday's game?

If you can find CU let us all know. If not here is link to SU broadcasts:
[www.syracuse.com] student station (no comercials)
[www.broadcast.com] official SU broadcast
I prefer the student station. It allows me to go commercial free and hear future national sports broadcasters. SU has a host (pun intended) of them from their communications school.

Well, the Cornell lax schedule at [cornellbigred.fansonly.com] has an "Audio Broadcast" link. If I'm deciphering it correctly, I think it's [www.fansonly.com]

I'll be there, even if it's pouring (whether it's rain... or Orange-colored goals...). I will never forgive myself for missing THE GAME two years ago... I had no good ex'Cuse for not going! (I should've at least caught the 4th quarter in person! Listening on the radio, knowing I coulda been witnessing history, was damned agonizing!!! (...but a thrill, nonetheless!))
My location in the stands will be somewhat influenced by the arrangement of the throngs of Red & Orange . (We're not talkin' Hahvahd here -- these guys actually have fans... and they're only an hour away!)
C.U. all there... LET'S GO RED!!! SQUASH THOSE ORANGES!!!
(Speaking of silly anti-Syracuse cheers, we just might be yelling stuff like that at Lynah someday! There's an article at USCHO(?) that mentions the possibility of a Syracuse hockey team joining the ECAC at some point... (I'll post a link later.))
[EDIT: I posted the link in a new thread entitled "Syracuse... hockey?!" ]
(So, what do you suppose the odds are that, just like in 2000, we'll see a #1 Syracuse visiting a #9 Cornell? It might just happen! (I'd consider it a sign from the LaxGods!) We'll know tomorrow afternoon, when the poll is due out...)
[P.S. -- I was going for the "number of different smileys in a post" record... ]

New poll just out - Cornell goes to #9. Duke's drop from 8 to 12 facilitated the upward move.
Syracuse remains #1, although with only 5 of the 10 first place votes.

----- Double Deja Vu !!! -----
(One from 2 YEARS ago, and one from 2 WEEKS ago...)
It's eerie enough that today's game will feature the exact same rankings matchup as the last time these two teams battled at Schoellkopf... (2 years ago)...
But, this is even weirder:
Ninth-ranked Cornell, with the top-ranked defense, is playing the top-ranked team, with the top-ranked offense... (today on turf... and 2 weeks ago... on ICE!!!)
(Let's hope this one turns out to be a replay of two years ago, not two weeks ago...)
