BU vs North Dakota Game Thread

started - 18:58 BU penalty ND on pp

Is anyone else having trouble with the audio feed link from the UND website? The audio keeps on fading in and out and it's REALLY annoying.

I would suggest using BU's audio feed--I haven't had any problems with it so far this year.

It's been said that the CCHA refs have been calling games tighter the whole year, unlike the rest of the conferences. Could this be part of the reason why?

I can't imagine CCHA refs have been calling all of the games thus far but I honestly don't know. For all three games thus far to have all these penalties...you have to think the refs are being told to call a tight game. I've only been around for a few years so I don't have much perspective but I still don't remember a postseason called like this (and we're only three games in!). Of course, the numbers might show something different but it feels like the refs are out of control.

BU on the PP now 2-1 being reviewed
player in the crease - Dakota announcers don't think it'll stand
disallowed - still 2-0 ND

Darn, missed it; it's the second disallowed goal tonight. The first was a Michigan tally in their game against Wisconsin.

disallowed goal was a tough one b/c the guy got into the crease on his own but may have been prevented from leaving the crease before his pal shot it in. disallowed anyway, not sure what was the correct call. bu 0-7 on the PP and half way thru #8
