CC just made the same play Mercyhurst used to score their first goal (except CC was on the penalty kill) but instead, the CC player took it in alone on the 2 on 1 and Silverthorn was up to the task...

Sertich took the puck right around the back of the goal while Silverthorn was looking for the puck on the wrong side of the goal. Silverthorn couldn't get his foot over in time for the backhanded wrap around.

I just flipped on channel 22 (Mediacom cable, central Iowa) and this game is on TV. Can it be that they might show more games this weekend??? This channel is usually ESPN News and often they show local access (HS and Iowa State b-ball games)

Colgate had a chance in front but couldn't score...looked like the refs missed a pretty solid boarding call on CC with 20 seconds left in a game they called extremely tight. Oh well. Great effort by Colgate!

Was it me or did the CC goalie suck a$$. 15 shots 5 goals. I dont think they will be going anywhere with that. My perdiction is Mich. 6 CC 4 today.

The INCH column speculated that CC might play it's other goalie, Matt Zaba, who played 18 games this season, against Michigan.
