No. 19 UNC up on No. 10 Cornell at halftime, 6-2.
2 Cornell goals followed by 6 straight unanswered by the Tar Heels, this would be a big hit to our NCAA at-large hopes.

UNC is a better team than a number 19 ranking indicates.

Perhaps, but the lacrosse team has to win games against better teams than Binghamton if they want to compete for an NCAA bid, let alone an NCAA championship.

If UNC appears better than No. 19, Cornell appears a more variable team than its No. 10 ranking would indicate. Or is this another year when Cornell finishes well but can't make up for early season miscues?
We saw No. 16 Rutgers play last weekend vs. No. 7 Army and even though the score was close, Army by 8-6, there was an immense difference in poise, passing ability, and resistance to dumb mistakes.
