I see where a few of you are staying, but does anyone have a good idea as to what is close, etc.? Any idea where the team is staying? How about where you all are staying?
I'm currently driving, but the CyberSaver fares may get me flying. Their packages include a room, thus the question.

www.gophersports.com
they have a link to mapquest with the arena address already in the destination line.
My place is about 12 miles away, (and inexpensive, since who really wants to go to Minneapolis in March anyway?). Cya there

I'm at the Crowne Plaza, which seemed to be the closest one in the Cybersaver group (other than the Holiday Inn which only had Smoking rooms). It was an upgrade compared with some of the others, but I figure this way I don't have to bother with a rental car. It's 2.9 miles from Mariucci per mapquest, and also in what is supposed to be the nicest part of downtown, and it looks like the walking route is somewhat shorter than the traffic route, and some can apparently be done underground. Also, I saw on the hotel website that they had rooms for $98.10/night if you do it a la carte.

Super 8 Motel in Roseville. $49/nite plus tax and it looks to be about 5 miles or so from the rink.

Four Points Minneapolis (not to be confused with the Four Points St. Paul Capitol) here.
Got one room through the site59 package, and another booked separately. About 4 miles from the rink with a shuttle that I was told would take you there.
I believe it's currently $79 (for a Saturday and Sunday night stay) through multiple channels (fourpoints.com, expedia, orbitz, whatever you use...) Free high speed internet in the rooms, if that matters to folks.

Well I did the CyberSaver through Rochester, and decided on the Holiday Inn Metrodome. Hopefully can change to non-smoking room once we get there. Great price $330 air and 2 nights. Thanks all.

I'm also at the Four Points Minneapolis and counting on the shuttle to take me to the rink. Now I just have to figure out how to get to the hotel from the airport....
