From what I've read here, I think this is correct, but I would like confirmation...
Tonight we need to root for:
Colorado College to beat Denver
UNH to beat Boston College
If we beat Harvard, and either of the above happens, we get a number one seed, right?
What other games matter, and who should we be rooting for?
Are there other ways we can get the number one seed?
Finally, is there anyone who will be following the games online who would be willing to shoot me e-mail text messages to my cell-phone with updates on the important games? I am in Albany, and will promise to share the updates with any interested Cornell fans around me. It won't even cost you anything, as you'll just need to send an e-mail message to an address I provide you. If anyone is willing to help, please e-mail me at ajw4@cornell.edu, and I will write back with the e-mail address to send the text messages to.
Thanks very much.

Actually, if Cornell, DU and UNH win, there's a tie with Minnesota for the last 1-seed (at least if the other favorites win). Minnesota would have the comparison win against us, but we'd have the higher RPI. If the committee is paying any attention to the comparisons themselves Minny should get the by, but if they're just reading the order off a list which uses RPI as a tie-breaker (as USCHO's used to) we could get it.

Ken '70 and I posted almost simultaneously, starting similar threads. Since his is more accurate, let's use that thread. I will post my request for someone to send text messages via e-mail to me in Albany elsewhere. So we can consider this thread closed.
