What was the website that listed all recruits? I saw it here once, was wondering where it went...

Any idea how, by the numbers, this class compares to previous classes? My impression is that Matt Moulson's junior numbers are better than any we've had in many a year (though I don't know how weak a league Guelph is in).

Also, I'm surprised there wasn't a goalie on the list. It's understandable that given that LeNeveu will get a lot of time, it'd be hard to recruit. But what if David goes down?

So, I ended up sitting in the row behind the assistant coaches in Worcester on Sunday. The Northeastern guy (whose name escapes me ringht now) will be given the shot for the #2 spot. #3 spot, who knows....

The Viking Cup is held every two years. Different Junior "A" Leagues send all star teams to compete.

Tom/John...

Todd Marr is the name, and I've heard he's pretty good - not that he got a shot this year. My hunch is he'll "compete" for the #1 spot, but LeNeveu will win. You can certainly get away with two goalies (and a prayer) for a season... and if not, maybe they could tempt Gartman back (j/K).

Does Marr's uni fit Underhill?

I mean, hypothetically.

Where did Gartman go anyways?

To the USHL. Des Moines, maybe?

Gartman is playing for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL. He's been their #1 goalie this year, and is 25-15 with a 3.00 GAA, 0.900 SV%, and 3 shutouts. Nice to see he's found himself some playing time.

The Viking Cup also has a team from local Augustana College, nicknamed the Vikings (hence the name of the tourney), and teams from several Scandinavian countries (to keep to the theme). Here's the link to this year's tourney [www.vikingcup.com] .
