Anyone know if Chartrand is retired or what he's doing? I'm surprised that he's not playing in Europe as 2003-04 wasn't his strongest year.

I thought i'd read on an LA Kings board last year that he was going to go into real estate, but i'm not sure.
From an article about the Manchester Monarchs dated Feb 17, 2005:
One available veteran is right wing Brad Chartrand, a 30-year-old who has finished his deal with the Kings. Chartrand last played for the Monarchs in 2001-02 producing a point a game in 22 games. He is married to a U.S. citizen so he would not require a green card or visa to play in the AHL.

Chartrand was at senior night, he was talking to the usher next to me. I didn't hear him say what he was up to, but I thought I heard him say it was his first time watching a game at Lynah since he left.
