No woofing because I'd go regardless but I went to the Pepsi Arena today to pick up tickets and they sent sections 107-113 to Cornell this morning and the closest they could get three all-session tickets for me was in section 101. Just an FYI.

West End lights look like goal light (Webcast)
Posted by: billhoward (---.union01.nj.comcast.net)

There are a couple of wall-mount rink lights at the west end at the same height (on the Webcast) that can be confused for the goal light. The wall lights are white, true, and the goal light is red, but with the audio feed running 5-plus seconds behind the video, if the camera pans during a shot, you see a bright light behind the goal ... you wait to see a couple sticks go up in the air.

Darn. Looks like I'm late for the party. For some reason I thought the puck dropped at 7:30. Bad enough I didn't get to listen last night, since I was taking in some AHL hockey action (good guys won BTW!).

Anyway, ready for some quarterfinal action! No video here (too cheap), but I've got the Clarkson audio feed up and running.

...and Clarkson just scored. I must be bad luck. :)

GO BIG RED!

Mine kept trying to open with WinAmp for some strange reason. That wouldn't work. I finally just opened RealPlayer on my own and typed in the URL in the "open URL" box.

[streamingmedia.clarkson.edu]

That link is probably going to get cut off by the board, but that's what you need to type...

Only 197 votes. It's a shame the response is so low. Perhaps we can help them.

Cornell starting to shut down Clarkson. Two period shots totals
Clarkson 11 03 xx - 14
Cornell 10 12 xx - 22
'course, there's one more period to play. Have to give Roll credit for motivating Clarkson after Friday night. It worked at least for one period.

Anything going on? Are we headed to OT? (This board is my only source for what's going on!)

Chris Abbott did not play at all in the third period. Dan Pegoraro took nearly all of the defensive zone faceoffs for Cornell.

I wasn't able to hear most of the 3rd period, but Gametracker has Clarkson with a 12-6 shots edge in the 3rd. Did they control play as the shots indicate? Cornell totally dominated the 2nd, so I would be surprised if that were the case.

Clarkson had about 5 shots on their late power play from 4 to 2 minutes left in the period.

Clarkson played a much stronger third period than second. They did not lay back hoping for a break.
