that has to be one of the best periods of hockey i've ever seen. did anybody else catch that brutal hit that murray delivered at lake placid to the rpi player - they replayed it in their little feature on him. so beautiful. . .now to watch cc and minn. LGR!!!

I saw that hit live at LP. All I can say is it was the kind of hit that you make when pressing the BIG HIT button on EA NHL2002 and then you get a bunch of replays.
Only difference being Murray's hit actually hurts (I would imagine)

Grady just said that hasn't been much hitting, there hasn't really been a need for it.
When is there ever NOT a need for hitting?

I just wanted to say this: god bless all of you giving score updates. I'm stuck on call and can't even listen to the game, but fortunately, there are tons of computers around.
Not to get ahead of myself, but I'm wondering if showing up for my exam on April 5th is really all that necessary. I mean, I could take it in Minnesota, or just not take it at all.....
Let's Go Red!!!
Screw BU, Quinnipiac, UNH, and everybody else just for the hell of it!

Don't feel bad - they credited it to Froelich on screen. The QU non-goal was waived off because it was kicked in.
