Well, the Pepsi Arena does not have the sections for the seeded teams announced yet. However, I've found out where the Capital District Alumni Association block is located. Group sales has said that corner is where we will be, regardless of our seed. Once I can confirm that location with the Capital District representative, I'll post the sections.
Of course what this means is that they are working the seating of the rink around us; not bad huh.

This may sound stupid, but are we assured of playing in Albany? I remember going to a first round ECAC playoff series at Princeton years ago, and I was wondering if we may be subject to a playoff series prior to Albany this year.
Also, what hotels (if any) are within walking distance of the Pepsi Arena?
I appreciate all responses. Being married with 4 kids, I need to make travel plans. Gone are the days of the impromptu road trip.

We have to win our first playoff series at home, and with what happened last year, no, we're definitely not assured. Other teams need to go through 2 rounds, but no one gets a straight trip to Albany.
The only hotel within walking distance that i know if is the Crowne Plaza, where the players stay. Not cheap, but quite nice. Feel free to chime in if you know of others.

The Crowne Plaza is a block from the Pepsi and also where all 4 teams stay. Book early.

I assume this will be played March 11-12. Is this correct?

Yes, and possibly the 13th. Teams 5-12 play March 4th-6th, and the 4 remainingf teams play at 1-4 on March 11th-13th. Albany the following weekend.

I just glanced at the Crowne Plaza's website, and it looks to be booked for that weekend.

There are still some rooms available. Keep checking back with them.
