Usually we Bay Area folks try to organzie a viewing event in SF to be centrally located. For the Florida game we got a turnout of 2 not including my friend who was watching the Iow State football game (Zeke's was still nice enough to give us the big screen though).
So this time I am just letting folks know that I will be attempting to view the game at the New Old Pro (downtown Palo Alto not the original on El Camino). Please join me (us?).
I would be also up for an outing to a Stanford club hockey game in the future.

Stanford won't be there, but if you're interested in seeing club hockey in the Bay Area, I'd suggest going to the Pac-8 championships, which are hosted by Berkeley this season...the semifinals are at 1:00 and 5:00 on Friday, Feb. 18, and the consolation and championship are at the same times on Saturday, Feb. 19. Info on the tournament is here: [calicehockey.com]

I'd be in for that. Do you know for sure we can get the Clarkson game on TV? Also, do you have a mao where the New Old Pro is (i.e. near the Marguerite bus stops?)?
Edit: 541 Ramona right?

French Rage,
Yes, the new Old Pro is on Ramona in downtown PA, right next to Nola's. It is not a far walk from the train station/bus center where I am sure the Marguerite stops.
I didn't officially check with them but I know that they do have independent control over most of the TVs and my firend knows some of the waitresses so I am not too worried. I will check it out ahead of time and report back here if there are any problems. I cannot guarantee good sound though as we are competeing with the Friday happy Hour crowd. I am open to other local ideas.

Sounds good, count me in. It's at 5 right, not 4?

Whoops, you are correct. It is at 5PST. I called the Old Pro and they do get DirectTV.

I called the Old Pro today and finally got someone who understood what CSTV was.
They confirmed that they do get CSTV and would be able to put the game on for us.
I hope to see a few folks there.
