Check out the scoreboard graphic that overruns the upper left corner of the screen on the CSTV telecast: It's so big it actually extends to the center of the screen. Makes you wonder if Job One for CSTV is providing good sports coverage on TV for college sports fans, or overrunnng the screen with logos and graphics. I think I've seen as many as three graphics onscreen at once - during the action - on CSTV.
CSTV misunderstands the difference between important and self-important.
It's just as bad as the graphics, perhaps not quite as big, during the NCAA lax playoffs in the spring. I think there's a one-size-fits-all graphics configuration, which is okay for baseball and maybe football. But when you shoot lacrosse going from right (attackers) to left (goalie), the goalie is going to be obscured half the time. They need to move the graphic to the bottom of the screen or lose it entirely.
CSTV says it welcomes viewer comments. I'm taking them up on their offer: [www.collegesports.com]

I actually don't mind it. If you watch the Red Sox on CBS 4, they do the same thing. Granted it's a different sport but the layout of the scoreboard is familiar to me. This is my first time watching CSTV and I'm quite impressed. They have two guys in the booth and three guys in the studio for the tournament. And the channel is only a year old, right? It looks like they're making a real commitment to college hockey.

Now I know what you're talking about...when they add in the power play it almost doubles the size of the graphic
