Reading posts on USCHO it seems that the refs in the league are going crazy with the crackdown on obstruction calls this year and calling very tight games like the league said they would. It has led to games with 20-30 penalties and a lot of people complaining. Whats everyone's opinion on this and how it will affect cornell?

In the short run it will affect us just like everyone else. We'll get more penalties called on us and our opponents.
In the long run, it's too early to tell. Our game is not based on obstruction, our game is based on size and puck control. If the other teams aren't allowed to hold and hook our guys when they're cycling down low, that helps us. However, if the refs start calling open ice checks as obstruction calls when they're really not, that will hurt us.
