Onion has sent out their promos for hockey season tickets and special packages. They have three "Special events" for which the ticket price is $2.00 higher than usual:
1. Nov. 6 vs. Clarkson - "Skate with the Dutchmen Night" (AKA Clutch and Grab Night)
2. Nov. 13 vs RPI - 'Alumni Night"
3. Jan. 14 vs Cornell - NO REASON STATED!
The Red is also excluded from their special Friday night package (AKA everybody else package).
I guess this is better than Harvard - they could have offered Cornell tickets ONLY with the Friday package.
Geez.

Isn't that the same thing Cornell does with the game vs. Harvard at Lynah (charge up the regular price)?

I will take it as a compliment. The Cornell Onion game is fun and fairly well attended. I will pay the extra bucks.

maybe because we're one of the few teams they consistently beat or tie?

This past year, it should have at least been a tie up at Union; it was a GOAL, remember?
