His daughter is a Cornellian. He is not. He graduated from SUNY-Binghamton (Harpur College)
But, what does this have to do with hockey?

Ithaca, N.Y.: Tony: If memory serves, your Sweet Baboo is headed to Cornell. Does that mean we can look for your column to feature Ivy League Hockey next year?
Tony Kornheiser: Yes, the Baboo is headed off to the Hotel School at Cornell where she has been told that students have to sleep outside to get hockey tickets b/c hockey is such a big draw. We were also told that football tickets and basketball tickets are easily available and that at Cornell no one cares about anything but hockey. The Baboo is not that big a hockey fan. She likes it, but she's not going to sleep outside in -20 degree weather to get a ticket. I will probably go to a football game at Cornell and writing some turgid, ellegiac crap about the joy of non-big time college football. Please don't read it. Please don't encourage me. Don't let me do what Feinstein did in The Last Amateurs (though, that sold well, and I wish I had his advance). --Tony

Video in which he says, while defending drinking at college, that his daughter is on a "beer scholarship" at the Hotel School. Good stuff :p

Totally coincidentally, I happened to be watching the PTI-Keggy clip today, just because I wanted a laugh. And I got one. I really hope we get to meet up with Dartmouth again in the postseason, just so I get another chance to cheer "We want Keggy! *clap clap clapclapclap*" (Thanks to Age for that one. )

A keg? Perhaps. Keggy? Not so much.
