Yeah, we've been through this before: [elf.elynah.com]
but that doesn't mean people who haven't yet signed it shouldn't sign it!

The more Cornellians that sign the petition, the more likely we are to see Cornell hockey broadcasts! Vote early, vote often!

Time warner cable doesnt seem to get it at all. They do listen - but just not to people that want CSTV.
This press release ( [www.twalbany.com] ) shows information about all the new benefits they claim to have added to cable this year - useless channels and higher costs.

Thanks for posting this. I don't agree with your conclusion. Two and three years ago the ECAC games were on Empire and I complained that Empire wasn't available. Last year Empire did show up (too late for the ECAC) on the digital package.
Now we have this from Time Warner:
In addition, the Sports Tier and TWC en Espanol will be available as additional levels of service for standard customers and will not require subscription to the Digital Tier. The Sports Tier, which includes such networks as Empire Sports, Outdoor Channel, Speed Channel, NBA TV, the Tennis Channel, three FOX Sports networks and a new addition, FUEL, is a nine-channel tier of service available to standard customers for $1.95.
I don't need any of these enough to pay $1.95. But we all need to call Time Warner (and e-mail them) to explain that we will be happy to pony up the $1.95 if they just add CSTV to the Sports Tier.
Another note - some on elynah may want to pay the $1.95 for the additional Fox Sports feeds. There have been many times when I was frustrated that I couldn't watch Fox Sports NE here in Troy. And where the hell is NESN? Many Red Sox fans would pay extra for NESN.
Please!! Everyone in Albany should call and e-mail Time Warner Cable and request CSTV.
